Vintage Bread Box
I am always in the process of trying to finish my kitchen. I have now come to the realization that I will never be done, it will never be perfect. I keep seeing these cute bread boxes that everyone has and I knew I really wanted one! I also knew I was looking for a vintage box because lets face it if I am bringing something that large into my house to have sit on the counter it needs to be useful!
So after searching and searching and still coming up empty, I actually lost hope and really quit looking for one. Imagine my surprise when I am walking through Goodwill and spot this find!
A honest to goodness metal bread box!! The shelf was still inside, the turn handle was there and works and the best part it was WHITE!!! It was tagged for $4.99 I got it to the counter and found out that it was 50% off! so here is my DIY for the $2.50 bread box!
So I venture to call this a DIY but honestly it is the easiest DIY in the history of DIY's. I headed over to Esty and found this vinyl from TruLineDecal {here}
I have this dead space in my kitchen where the counter top is too deep to be useful and it's only purpose is to collect junk (the paper and random toy kind) So even though this box is quite large I did not lose any space in my kitchen having it!
All in all I love it! It was so easy I finished this project in under 10 minuets, and you cannot beat a project for under $10.00! Now to go finish one of the other 12 projects that I have started and not yet finished laying around here. One day I will get it all figured out but today is not that day and tomorrow is not looking good either!

So I clean the bread box and slap on the sticker, boom done. It did not take brains or brawn that is for sure but I love it!

Girl what a score!!!! I absolutely love it! Love the font of the word bread too. It goes great with the farmhouse theme!
