Drop Cloth Curtains

I don't know how decorating your first home went for you guys but for me it has been nothing but trial and error. When I first moved in I really had no idea what my "style" was and really was just getting things in the house to serve a purpose, not really to be decorative or stylish. Then I came upon farmhouse style and I have been hooked ever since. Some believe it is a "fad" but I believe it is a lifestyle!

My living room / dining room windows face the West and have been a struggle for me. In the summertime the amount of heat they let into the house is suffocating. So I need heavy duty curtains that also function to keep the house cooler. While also staying in the farmhouse theme! So off to Pinterest I go for inspiration and Drop Cloth Curtains are born!

So after a quick trip to Home Depot where I grabbed {these} 6x9 drop cloths. And Amazon provided the rod clips {here} After a quick wash I simply hung them up! Super simple, and quick just the way I like it! Adds the farmhouse feel and really lightens up the space. I am in love!
