A Pallet Backsplash
Pallets!!! A couple years ago it seemed like pallets were everywhere, it was the big thing. People were using them for everything. It was a band wagon I wanted to be on. So to my husbands irritation I started collecting pallets. I had lots and lots of project ideas that well, never happened. after collecting quite a pile my backsplash was born. Ok lets back up here just a bit. When we moved in the backsplash that was in the kitchen was dreadful. I knew I wanted it changed but was unsure of what I wanted to put in its place. One day right after we moved in my brother in law came over, I guess he disliked the backsplash as much as I did because they took it down that night. Notice how you can see the studs in the walls now? The whole wall had to come out. So, now that the offensive fruit was removed, I was still no closer to knowing what I wanted up in the kitchen.
